How cool is this? We’re not even officially open for business yet, and the cycling press is already saying nice things about our products.
Last month, in fact, Tech Editor Zack Vestal at Singletrack magazine (which is sort of like VeloNews‘ offroad kid brother, only more grown up and who doesn’t bring your car back with gas gauge pegged on E and the back filled with empty PBR cans every dang time) came out with a very positive review of our Exustar E-SM322 MTB shoes, comparing them favorably with top-of-the-line offerings from, well you know, all those other brands.
We encourage you to read the full article here, but couldn’t resist adding some tasty excerpts:

“I managed about two months of riding in these shoes, including an off-road stage race with 4+ hour stages, and a couple of normal length cross-country races as well. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the fit and function…”
“Power transfer and comfort for both walking and pedaling are good.
Other aspects of the fit are very good as well. The upper is soft and nicely shaped. The toe box is wide and roomy, with a round (rather than pointed) toe area. I have a wide forefoot, and cramped toe space is my number one peeve. No problems with these shoes in this department. Ventilation is good, and my feet were never too hot. The retention straps are perfectly comfortable and create no pressure points. The ratchet buckle is easy to use.”
